Terms of Use

This English version is provided for information only. The French version is the legally binding one and prevails in case of any discrepancy.

Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using the GlamFinder platform.

1. Definitions

  • Platform: the GlamFinder website and application, accessible at https://glamfinder.fr and its subdomains.
  • Company: GlamFinder SAS, a simplified joint-stock company, registered with the RCS of Pontoise under number 943 831 420, whose registered office is located at 15 Chemin de Halage, 95620 Parmain.
  • User: any person using the Platform, whether a Pro or a Client.
  • Pro: a beauty professional (makeup artist, hairdresser, esthetician, etc.) offering their services through the Platform.
  • Client: an individual booking and benefiting from the services offered by Pros.
  • Service: a beauty service offered by a Pro and booked by a Client.
  • Booking: an order for a Service placed by a Client with a Pro.

2. Purpose

GlamFinder is a platform that connects beauty professionals (Pros) with clients wishing to benefit from their services. The Platform facilitates the booking, payment, and management of beauty services.

3. Acceptance of the Terms of Use

Using the Platform implies full and complete acceptance of these Terms of Use. If you do not accept these terms, you must not use the Platform.

4. Registration and user account

  • Registration is free and required to use the Platform.
  • You must provide accurate and up-to-date information.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
  • You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.

5. Services offered

  • Connecting Pros and Clients.
  • Booking and schedule management system.
  • Secure payment for services.
  • Review and rating system.
  • Communication between Pros and Clients.

6. User obligations

6.1 General obligations

  • Comply with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Not infringe on the rights of third parties.
  • Not publish illegal, offensive, or inappropriate content.
  • Use the Platform in accordance with its intended purpose.

6.2 Pro obligations

  • Hold the necessary qualifications and authorizations.
  • Honor confirmed booking time slots.
  • Provide quality services consistent with their descriptions.
  • Keep their information and availability up to date.

6.3 Client obligations

  • Honor booking time slots.
  • Cancel within the stated deadlines if prevented from attending.
  • Pay for services according to the agreed terms.
  • Communicate respectfully with Pros.

7. Bookings and cancellations

  • Bookings are confirmed by email.
  • Cancellation terms are set by each Pro.
  • Cancellation fees may apply according to the Pro's terms.
  • GlamFinder reserves the right to cancel a booking in the event of force majeure.

8. Payments

  • Payments are secured via Stripe or an equivalent provider.
  • Prices are displayed inclusive of all taxes. As of today, GlamFinder does not add any additional platform fees; only Stripe payment fees apply.
  • Refunds are processed according to the cancellation terms.
  • GlamFinder may collect a commission on transactions, according to the business model indicated on the Platform. As of today, no additional commission is charged.

9. Liability

  • GlamFinder is an intermediary that connects users.
  • Responsibility for the services lies with the Pros.
  • GlamFinder cannot be held liable for indirect damages.
  • GlamFinder's liability is limited to the amount of the sums received by GlamFinder for the booking concerned.

10. Intellectual property

All elements of the Platform (texts, images, logos, etc.) are protected by copyright. Any unauthorized reproduction is prohibited.

11. Data protection

The processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy.

12. Suspension and termination

  • GlamFinder may suspend or terminate an account in the event of a breach of these Terms of Use.
  • The user may terminate their account at any time.
  • Termination does not affect obligations arising before the termination.

13. Changes to the Terms of Use

GlamFinder reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use. Users will be informed of any major changes.

15. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms of Use are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the French courts shall have jurisdiction.
